First thing you notice when you walk in – those views aren’t just marketing fluff. You’re literally looking out at both the Adriatic and the terracotta rooftops of the old town, which is sort of perfect because you get the best of both worlds without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble.
The location is actually brilliant if you know Dubrovnik at all. Grudska ulica is one of those streets that feels residential but you’re still walking distance to everything that matters. I mean, you can hit Stradun in about ten minutes on foot, but when you come back in the evening, you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling around outside your window. The owner – really nice guy, by the way – mentioned that most guests figure out pretty quickly that they can grab coffee at the little café around the corner on Boskovićeva street, which honestly serves better burek than half the places in the old town charging tourist prices.
What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff that you don’t always think about until you’re there. The studio’s got proper blackout curtains (trust me, summer sunrise comes early when you’re facing east), decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and – this might sound silly – but the shower has good water pressure, which you’d be surprised how rare that is in some of these converted buildings. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’re settled in; it’s not fancy, but everything just works the way it should. The kitchenette is compact but functional if you want to grab groceries from the market near Pile Gate, though honestly, with all the great restaurants within walking distance, I barely used it except for morning coffee. One small thing – the building can get a bit echo-y when people are coming and going, but it’s old stone construction, so that’s just part of the charm. Plus, Dubrovnik quiets down pretty early anyway, so it’s never really an issue unless you’re a super light sleeper.

Exceptional Le cadre était vraiment cool, super vue sur la vieille ville, la dame nous a dit qu’il y avait 100 escaliers, mais en réalité il n’y en a que 96😂
C’est vrai que les escaliers à la fin de la journée, c’est un petit peu compliqué quand tu as fait deja plein d’escaliers en ville , mais franchement ça en vaut la peine.

What could be improved: Location is quite high, count with lot of stairs, not really a negative, you just need to consider if you are ok with that. On the other hand the view is amazing
Ideal accommodation for location and price. View from the room was amazing. No kitchen but that didn't bother us as there was a fridge, kettle, cutlery. Very clean overall.
What could be improved: Think A/C might've been old as we would wake up with a blocked nose, and dry throat when we used it. Hairdryer was very old and slow too. These were just small things that did not impact our trip greatly.

What could be improved: The location of the hotel and the box containing the key were difficult to find.
Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, wszędzie blisko. Tylko pokonywanie stu schodów wymaga dobrej kondycji. Widok z balkonu na stare miasto wyśmienity!
What could be improved: Brak wody w kuchni.
