The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect. The 9.6 rating makes sense when you consider it’s not trying to be a luxury resort; it’s just doing the fundamentals really well in an absolutely prime location.

Honestly, the biggest selling point might be what you can walk to. Rector’s Palace is maybe two minutes away, the cathedral’s even closer, and if you’re into that whole Game of Thrones thing (which, let’s be real, half the people visiting are), you’re basically surrounded by filming locations. But more practically – you can stumble back from dinner at one of the local konobas without navigating crowds or worrying about finding your way through the maze of streets after a few glasses of Plavac Mali.
