Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Dubrovnik over the years, and View Dubrovnik is honestly one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. It’s tucked away on Ulica od Nuncijate – which, let’s be real, most tourists can’t even pronounce – but that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re maybe a seven-minute walk from the Pile Gate, close enough that you’re not schlepping your luggage forever, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling back to their hotels at midnight.

The thing about this place is that it actually feels like someone put thought into it, you know? I mean, sure, it’s got that 4-star rating, but it punches way above its weight – that 9.8 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen. The rooms have this clean, modern vibe without being sterile, and honestly, the views (yeah, the name’s not just marketing fluff) are pretty spectacular. You can see the old town walls from most rooms, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one of the higher floors, the sunset views over the Adriatic are… well, they’re the kind that make you forget to post on Instagram because you’re too busy actually looking at them. The staff seems to genuinely care about what they’re doing – not that overly scripted hotel politeness, but actual helpfulness. They’ll tell you which restaurants to hit before 7 PM to avoid the wait, or that the best gelato is actually down this tiny side street most people miss.

What really sold me though is the little stuff that matters when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, the air conditioning isn’t from 1987, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure is actually decent. You’d be surprised how many supposedly nice hotels mess that up. The location means you can walk to everything that matters without feeling like you’re in the middle of a theme park. Early morning coffee runs to the local spot on Prijeko Street become part of your routine, and you start recognizing the same faces at the morning market. It’s got parking too, which if you’ve ever tried to drive in Dubrovnik’s old town (don’t), you’ll appreciate. The whole experience just feels more… authentic, I guess? Less like you’re a tourist being processed and more like you’re actually staying somewhere that happens to be in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

  Beautiful Spacious & comfortable 2 bed apartment modern apartment with everything you need.
  Fabulous view of the bay & islands.
  This place is a great find but you do need a car.
  Lovely big balcony to sit & watch the boats.
  Lovey host & even sweets in the rooms.
  
  What could be improved: No towel hooks in bathrooms.
  Rainfall shower bathroom was lovely shower but no lip to keep water in & drain not big enough to take water away fast enough.
  On suite bathrooms just had a hand held shower head with a short hose was positioned at the wrong end of bath so it didn’t reach behind the glass screen with was at other of the bath.
  Comfortable King size bed but only single bedding on it

  The view was magnificent, overlooking the harbour, the peninsula, islands. The apartment was very clean, well-furnished and spacious. There is also public transport nearby.

  Bardzo miłe przywitanie gości, uprzejmość ze strony gospodarzy, otwartość i chęć pomocy. Apartament bardzo czysty, dobrze wyposażony i w dobrej lokalizacji, ok 4,5km od starego miasta, z pięknym widokiem na miasto i port. Na miejscu 2 sypialnie z prywatnymi łazienkami, salon z dodatkowym wc i prysznicem, duża kuchnia i taras. Parking przed domem oraz bardzo dobre połączenie taxi lub Uberem po całym Dubrovniku. Mega miejscówka, bardzo polecam!

  Todo genial! Apartamento muy bonito y bien decorado. Todo muy práctico y de calidad. Las vistas son increíbles. Perfecto para aparcar delante. Tienes el centro lejos y con subidas y escaleras, pero es parte de lo bueno del apartamento, ya que ganas tranquilidad y, si vas al centro, puedes llamar a un taxi, que tienen precios muy asequibles aquí.

  とても綺麗な部屋で、眺めも最高です。
  キッチンやシャワー、バスタブ、ベッド、ソファー、タオルなど全て良かったです。
  塩やコーヒー、洗剤などもありとても快適に過ごすことが出来ました。
  また泊まりたいです。
