My room was simple but thoughtfully arranged — nothing fancy, but everything you actually need was there. The owners clearly understand that travelers want comfort over flashy amenities. What struck me most was how quiet everything was at night, which is rare in this part of Croatia during peak season. The space felt more like staying in a well-appointed local home than a typical hotel, if that makes sense. Each room is designed with the guest’s comfort as the primary consideration.

Unexpected Perks

Two things really stood out during my stay. First, they offer massage services right on-site — back, neck, and foot treatments that honestly saved me after all that walking on ancient stone streets. I mean, Dubrovnik is gorgeous but those cobblestones are brutal on your feet. Second, and this is huge, there’s free private parking available. If you’ve ever tried to park in old town Dubrovnik, you’ll understand why this alone makes Villa Bruna worth considering. These amenities demonstrate the property’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

  Absolutely everything!
  The villa was incredibly well equipped with great amenities, and was spacious enough for 12 of us to stay in comfortably and none of us wanted to leave!
  The pool was a lovely temperature and we enjoyed it every day of our 6 day stay in April.
  The location is brilliant with it being a 10/15 minutes walk to old town, or a short bus/taxi ride. It was also near a variety of shops for food.
  The outdoor dining and BBQ area was a great feature and we all loved it.
  We couldn't say enough good things about Villa Bruna. It felt like a little paradise!
  
  What could be improved: There was some noise from the nearby street, but this was to be expected and wasn't a problem; especially since we had such a secluded and beautiful area all to ourselves.

  What could be improved: The property has 6 toilets but only 3 bathrooms. The website description says 6 bathrooms. This was a challenge as there was 11 of us, we werent expecting to have to share bathrooms.

  Geweldige locatie, binnen 15 min lopen in centrum. Ruim zwembad en terras met veel privacy. Keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. Vriendelijke verhuurders. Tip: boek een boot trip via verhuurder.
  
  What could be improved: Vanwege de centrale ligging vlakbij een redelijk drukke weg soms getoeter en optrekkende auto’s op de achtergrond.

  The outside garden, pool and bbq area is amazing. Plenty of room for all the family to enjoy. Staff went the extra mile to ensure we were happy throughout our stay, for example leaving complimentary fresh fruit bowl, chocolates & coal for the bbq. The villa had everything we needed!
  
  What could be improved: Nothing bad to report about the property. Would advise future guests to bring mosquito / bug deterrents as this was the only issue we experienced during our stay.

  wow, it’s amazing!! very large and clean, two washing machines, great pool with outdoor toilet and toilet. there’s a bbq outside where you can grill, along with multiple lounge chairs and a mini fridge. great layout! inside a well stocked kitchen with a huge fridge and everything working and top notch. they even welcomed us with beverages, fruits, nuts, candies, and local liquor. we were two families and easily could have fit another. wifi worked great in most areas, and they even had wifi outdoors. about a 15 minute walk to old town. the hosts were very nice, communicative, and welcoming. highly recommend
