  After traveling as a family for two weeks, it was a delight to finally unpack, unwind, and enjoy the comforts of a well-equipped house. Villa Franica’s location was fantastic, right on the beach, which provided refreshing breezes, especially when it was too hot to stay by the pool. We also loved having a beautiful walking track right at our doorstep.
  
  One day, a massive storm rolled in and created quite a mess outside. To our surprise, we woke up the next morning to a spotless yard. Whoever cleaned up must have done it during the night or very early in the morning, as we never saw them. We were extremely happy with our stay at Villa Franica.
  
  What could be improved: The villa was in a very quiet and peaceful location, which added to the relaxation of our stay. However, it did mean relying on Ubers to reach restaurants and other attractions. This wasn’t a big deal for us, but it's something to consider.

  The villa looked just like in the photos, if not better! It was spottless and had all the facilities you could wish for. Beds were comfortable, there were enough showers and toilets and everything worked flawlessly. The highlights were the outside areas. We enjoyed the pool and the sunbeds and loved having breakfast together on the terrace. Everything was very private but you were just a few steps away from the beach. The location was really nice, outside of the crowds of the Old Town but just a short drive away. Erika our hostess was super friendly and accomodating and answered every question we had. We also used the shuttle service from and to the airport and both times the drivers were really friendly and on time.

  A great location by the beach. The nearest supermarket is a ten minute walk away along the sea front. Uber is incredibly efficient and cheap so you pop into the old town in Dubrovnik whenever you want (although the journey can take 20+ minutes if the traffic is bad). There's a lovely beach bar (Ponat) a one minute walk away and some fancier hotel beach clubs/bars/restaurants (Coral/Copacabana) another five or ten minutes walk after that.
