Here’s the thing about Komolac — it’s actually brilliant if you want to experience Dubrovnik without the crowds crushing you every morning. You’re about 15 minutes from the Old Town by car, which means you can easily pop into the historic center when you want to, but retreat to this peaceful neighborhood when the tour groups get overwhelming. The fact that Zara offers free private parking right on site is honestly a game-changer — anyone who’s tried to park near Dubrovnik’s walls knows what a nightmare that can be. I mean, you’ll save both money and stress, which is worth its weight in gold during peak season.

The Accommodation

My room was simple but thoughtfully arranged, with everything you actually need for a comfortable stay. The space felt clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the attention to small details — good lighting, decent storage, and a bathroom that worked properly (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case).   Jako lijepo uređeno i uredno, s prostranom terasom, u novijem objektu. Objekt je na dobroj lokaciji, u mirnoj obiteljskoj četvrti, u blizini trgovine, obale, 15 minuta automobilom od centra Dubrovnika.
