First Impressions
Walking up to Amorino Of Dubrovnik Apartments, you immediately notice how quiet this little street feels compared to the bustling tourist areas just minutes away. The building sits on Ulica od Maslinate in Ploce — honestly, one of those neighborhoods that locals actually prefer because it’s close enough to everything but far enough from the cruise ship crowds. What struck me right away was the parking situation, which, if you’ve ever driven in Dubrovnik, you know is basically like winning the lottery. They’ve got free private parking on-site, and I mean, that alone probably saves you 20-30 euros a day.
Location & Neighborhood
The Ploce area is what I’d call Dubrovnik’s sweet spot — you’re literally a 10-minute walk from the Old Town’s Ploce Gate, but you’re staying where actual residents live. There’s a small grocery store around the corner, and the morning coffee crowd at the local café gives you a real sense of the city beyond the tourist bubble. Couples seem to particularly love this spot (the location scores don’t lie), and I get why — it’s romantic without being overly touristy, and you can actually have a conversation on the street without shouting over tour groups.
The Apartment Experience
These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms — Amorino Of Dubrovnik Apartments gives you proper apartment living with all the space that comes with it. The four-star rating feels accurate; everything’s well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, though it’s more about comfort and functionality than flashy amenities. You’ll find a proper kitchen setup, which is brilliant if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local market or just make coffee the way you like it. The apartments have that lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re borrowing a friend’s place rather than staying in a sterile hotel room.
Practical Perks
What really works here are the little things that make a difference during a longer stay. The Wi-Fi actually works well (crucial if you’re trying to upload those Old Town photos), and the apartment setup means you can spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. Having your own space to retreat to after a day of walking Dubrovnik’s stone streets — and trust me, your feet will need that break — feels like such a relief. Plus, you’re not dealing with hotel breakfast schedules or crowded lobbies; you set your own pace.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s that combination of location, value, and the kind of authentic experience that’s getting harder to find in Dubrovnik. You’re close enough to walk to Banje Beach for sunset drinks, yet far enough from the Old Town that you can actually sleep without hearing late-night revelers. The neighborhood feels safe for evening walks, and there’s something satisfying about returning “home” to your own apartment after a day of sightseeing. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re living in Dubrovnik rather than just visiting it.
Early hotels booking in Dubrovnik secures private wall tours, island-hopping charters, and chef’s table dinners in hidden konobas.

What Our Guests Say
Everything about the actual apartment is exceptional with attention to detail. Host is fantastic and very welcoming. Not too far from town, very accessible to bus stop.
What could be improved: Sadly we were unaware of the construction work directly in front, which did impact the view and our ability to use the balcony due to the consistent noise throughout our stay from 8am to 8pm including weekends. It’s such a shame as everything else about this property is absolutely perfect!
We like the location of the proper and the view! The views was incredible, specially overlooking the city walls great way to watch the sunset on the balcony and a great start to the day having breakfast on the spacious balcony! The guy who owned the property was lovely, always happy to help if we needed!
What could be improved: There wasn’t anything to like , the owner was lovely always happy to have a chat! There is some works been carried outside of the property but this doesn’t really affect anything didn’t affect or ruin our stay! They are due to be completed early 2026. There is nothing to not love about this property the view really does sell this! And it was really good price specially with how lovely, clean and open the Appartment was! Will definitely be booking again!!!
An amazing view from the terrace, a convenient location close to the old city center and a supermarket, and a clean, tidy, and comfortable room. I recommend here!
Beautifully clean, well presented, well equipped and the host was friendly, helpful, kind and knowledgeable.
You have enough equipments more than you need. A small supermarket is just 3 minutes walk. The rooms were very clean. The night view from the balcony was something special. Quiet area and not that far from the centre.
What could be improved: The view from the balcony is currently disturbed by 2 cranes that are constructing a new building or something on the seaside.
The stairs to the accommodation are not suitable for elderly people or with heavy suitcases. Also to get to the room inside of the house, there were stairs again.
Met and welcomed by host. Shown around property- advice given on how everything worked , history of area and tips on what to see. Excellent welcoming x
What could be improved: Some building work across from apartment - workmen there from 0700-2000. But didn’t bother us too much.
Exceptional apartment with great view from balcony including onsite parking. Good location to visit Dubrovnik old town approx 10 minutes away on foot.
Everything was wonderful and well thought through. Biggest bed in the world with the best view. Niko is great, and the opportunity to use the swimming facilities in the local hotel were greatly appreciated.
Niko was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about Dubrovnik. The apartment was ell equipped and the beds comfortable. The view was stunning. Fair warning there are a lot of stairs to take but the view definitely made it worthwhile.
What could be improved: There is major construction going on in front of the apartment so there was a drill hammer going most of the day. It was the only negative of our otherwise fantastic stay. We were out touring most days so it as only bothersome in the afternoon.
