I mean, you’re literally surrounded by centuries-old limestone walls and baroque churches, but somehow this place manages to feel refreshingly modern once you step inside.
You know what’s amazing about this spot? You can roll out of bed and be at the Rector’s Palace in about two minutes, maybe three if you stop for coffee. From your apartment, you’re close enough to hear the morning bells from the cathedral, but tucked away enough that you won’t be dealing with cruise ship crowds right outside your window. You can grab fresh seafood from the morning market (it’s literally a five-minute walk) and actually prepare it yourself if you want. Or just store the Croatian wine you’ll inevitably buy too much of — trust me on this one. The whole setup lets you live more like a temporary resident than a tourist, which is exactly what you want when you’re staying somewhere this special.

Everything. the apartment is very spacious and exactly like the photos and is situated right in the heart of the old town so easy to get around. Vedran is very prompt at responding to messages and kindly allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early. The apartment was absolutely spotless, bed really comfortable, kitchen well equipped, great air conditioner and plenty of storage/wardrobe space. washing machine/dryer was great and having pods was a nice unexpected extra.. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor above a pizzeria but we were never disturbed by noise. There is no lift in the building so you need to carry luggage up stairs. We are an elderly couple but managed just fine.
What could be improved: First impression when opening main door to the building as it's also where the bins are kept. But really not a problem. Lighting was a bit tricky until you get used to it.
I like that the apartment was modern with a walk-in shower. Washer/Dryer was a bonus.
What could be improved: The stairwells are very dark and steep. Big closets need more hangers. At least 20.

Location was perfect, right in the middle of Old Town. The facilities were great, had everything we needed and more.
The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom and shower were good quality and the TV even had Netflix (log in yourself obviously) for the times we wanted to relax after dinner.
What could be improved: Nothing.
Only comment would be that it's up two flights of stairs and no lift, so if you have mobility problems that may be an issue.
This accommodation was great for our needs. The host had done a series of video's on Whats App which were really helpful to find the accommodation and gain access. The accommodation was modern inside and very practical. There were nice touches like a bowl of lollies inside. The washing machine was great and it was nice that washing tablets were also provided. While it was in the center of town, it was lovely and quiet at night.
What could be improved: We liked everything.
The apartment was exceptionally well-presented, well-equipped and maintained. Having an efficient air conditioner in a heat wave was a blessing. being located right in the centre of the old town meant that you could very easily nip in and out of the property for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of a very busy city.
What could be improved: Access to the apartment above a pizza restaurant on 2nd floor requires climbing two flights of steep stairs. We required assistance with our heavy suitcases which the manager Vedran was happy to provide. We considered this a small inconvenience given the superb quality of the apartment. our only other criticism is that contrary to the description, it does not have city views - in fact, no views at all apart from neighbouring wall.
