It’s not luxury in the marble-and-gold sense, but it’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re actually experiencing the city rather than just observing it from behind hotel glass. Sure, dragging luggage up those stone steps isn’t fun, and the shower pressure could be better, but when you’re sipping wine on a balcony that overlooks terracotta rooftops with the Adriatic glittering in the distance, those minor inconveniences fade pretty quickly.
