This spot actually surprised me in the best way possible. The terrace (and yes, it really is big) completely sold me the moment I stepped out there. You’re looking out over Lapad Bay with this perfect view that changes throughout the day – morning coffee feels different when you’re watching the sun hit the water just right.
The location is pretty brilliant, actually. Lapad isn’t the tourist circus that Old Town becomes in summer, but you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere either. There’s this lovely tree-lined promenade maybe a 5-minute walk down where locals do their evening stroll – honestly, it’s one of those simple pleasures that makes you feel like you’re living in Dubrovnik rather than just visiting it. The beaches here are way less crowded than Banje, and the water’s just as gorgeous. Plus, getting into the historic center is easy enough with the bus (though I mean, sometimes you’ll wait a bit during peak season – it’s Croatia in summer, what do you expect?).
What really got me was how the apartment felt lived-in but well-maintained. The owners clearly use this space themselves, so you’ll find little touches that actually make sense – good lighting where you need it, a kitchen stocked with basics that work properly, decent water pressure in the shower. The terrace furniture isn’t just thrown together either; they’ve got this setup where you can catch morning sun or afternoon shade depending on your mood. I spent way too many evenings out there with a bottle of local wine, watching the boats come and go. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not fancy, but everything works, it’s clean, and that view… well, it does most of the heavy lifting. Only minor gripe is that the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might hear your neighbors occasionally. But honestly, the sound of the sea kind of drowns out most of it anyway.

Wir werden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen wollen 😍 Einfach alles, wir hatten einen sehr freundlichen Empfang und Einweisung in der Apartment, die sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet ist. War sehr gemütlich und hat eine absolut ruhige Atmosphäre mit super schönes Aussicht aus der Terrase.
Empfehle ich einfach weiter 🥰

Мы все равно хорошо провели время наслаждаясь красотами города. Удобное месторасположение квартиры. Не далеко от основных достопримечательностей.
What could be improved: Квартира не была подготовлена, уборка была поверхностная. Было много пыли, в углах паутины. Пол был тоже грязный. Кровать не удобная из-за того, что старый матрац, который на столько продавлен, что после сна спина невозможно ноет и болит. Устаревшая духовка, которая очень долго разогревается. В квартире отсутствовали средства для уборки (веник, ведро, тряпка для пола, швабра).
