The location on Pobijana street is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Dubrovnik at all. You’re tucked right into the Old Town, which means you can stumble back from dinner at Proto or Nautika without dealing with taxis or that steep walk up from Ploče. The thing is, finding the entrance the first time is… well, let’s just say Google Maps gets a bit confused in these narrow medieval streets.

The apartments themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but they’ve got that Croatian coastal vibe down with the white walls and blue accents. What I actually loved was waking up and hearing the sound of the Adriatic through the windows, especially in the early morning before the cruise ship crowds hit the city walls. The kitchenette setup is pretty practical too, which you’ll appreciate since eating out for every meal in Dubrovnik can seriously drain your wallet (I mean, €25 for pasta gets old fast). The Wi-Fi worked fine, though it did get a bit spotty during peak evening hours when everyone’s uploading their sunset photos from the city walls.

Here’s what nobody tells you though – the real magic happens when you discover you’re literally a two-minute walk from the famous Buza Bar, that cliffside spot where locals go to watch sunset with a beer. Most tourists spend forever trying to find it, but you’ll basically be neighbors. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury by any stretch, and the check-in process was a bit chaotic (Croatian time, you know?), but for the price point and location, it delivers. Just pack light because those Old Town streets weren’t designed for rolling suitcases, and honestly, you’ll be spending most of your time exploring anyway. If you’re the type who needs a pool and room service, look elsewhere. But if you want to actually live in Dubrovnik for a few days rather than just visit it, this place gets the job done.
