It’s more like staying at a friend’s incredibly well-designed apartment, if that friend happened to have impeccable taste and a serious budget for upgrades.
The loft itself is beautifully laid out with high ceilings and modern furnishings that actually feel comfortable, not just Instagram-worthy. But let’s talk about what everyone’s really here for — that private pool and patio area. I mean, having your own little oasis in Dubrovnik is pretty incredible, especially when you can take a dip after spending the day exploring the Old Town’s stone streets. The patio gets great afternoon sun, and there’s something really satisfying about having breakfast out there while planning your day. You know what’s nice? You’re not fighting for pool chairs or dealing with crowds — it’s just yours.
Ploče is honestly one of the best neighborhoods to stay in if you want to be close to everything without being right in the tourist chaos. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk to the Old Town walls, but you can actually park your car here (free parking on-site, which is basically gold in Dubrovnik). The area feels residential and peaceful, yet you can easily walk to Banje Beach or catch stunning sunset views from the nearby cliffs. Couples seem to really get this balance — close enough to explore, far enough to have some privacy and quiet time together.
What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches that show someone actually lives in this city and knows what travelers need. The kitchen is properly equipped if you want to grab groceries from the local market and cook something simple. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the space, and there’s good air conditioning — trust me, you’ll want that during summer months. Having your own entrance means you can come and go as you please without feeling like you’re disturbing anyone, which is surprisingly liberating when you’re used to hotel lobbies and key cards.
That 9.8 rating isn’t just luck — this place delivers on creating a genuine home-away-from-home experience in one of Croatia’s most beautiful cities. The view, the pool, the layout of the property and the host was very accommodating.
We loved that when we arrived the fridge was stocked so that we didn't need to worry about going shopping and could enjoy our first day.
What could be improved: There are a lot of steps to the property and taxis get confused about where to pick up and drop off unless you pin the location.
Without the steps you wouldn't get the views though!
Our host, Miho, organised transport for us and met us to handover keys and show us around the property and even stocked our fridge!
What could be improved: My husband has difficulty walking so the stairs to get to town were an issue for him
Beautiful property with all the amenities. The flat was perfectly decorated and everything was thought of. We had a private pool with gorgeous view and a lovely balcony, as well. Miho was exceptionally helpful as a host and the fridge was even stocked up with some provisions for the first few days. He came equipped with lots of tips and a guidebook (take Peter’s boat trip! So fun!) to help your stay. All the recommendations were amazing. It was really first rate service. Just a quick 5 minute walk to town.
What could be improved: Not a thing. We will be rebooking soon!
The property was well maintained and super clean even the outdoor pool area. The pool was perfect as it was super hot in Dubrovnik during our stay in August. The views from the place was also so beautiful!! The stairs seem like a lot but going down it was only 10min to get to the old town and a 15min hike back up which in the best we only did once - the other times we took an Uber which cost no more than 6.50€ from the old town.
We tracked as a group; one couple and 2 friends and we were comfortable with the space and 2 bathrooms. They had everything we needed and Miho also made sure to stock the fridge which was so thoughtful! The bathroom had everything you needed as well including feminine products. Best customer service I experienced in Croatia!
I give this 5 stars and would stay here again in a heart beat.

Gosh - where to begin?! Everything about this property is superb. Miho (the host) was so helpful and ensured that we wanted for nothing for the duration of our stay. The pool area is unbelievably beautiful, and the view from the patio and balcony is no doubt one of the best in Dubrovnik. The property is equipped with everything we needed for the most incredible and relaxing holiday. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with special touches throughout that make this property unique. The stocked fridge was a most wonderful surprise on arrival - especially as our flight was delayed and we were tired and hungry. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will most definitely be back.
What could be improved: There is absolutely nothing abut this property that I could fault. Although being situated at the top of the hillside, the climb back up is hard work so would not be suitable for anybody with mobility problems or who isn't up for a challenge! However taxis are readily available.
