The building itself has that practical Croatian apartment block vibe – nothing fancy, but solid and well-maintained. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; you’re in a residential area where actual locals live, so you’ll hear normal neighborhood sounds instead of drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious for a 3-star place, and whoever’s running this operation clearly gets what travelers actually need. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – I’m talking real plates, not flimsy plastic stuff – and there’s enough counter space to actually prepare a meal with those gorgeous tomatoes and olive oil from Gruž market. The air conditioning works well (crucial in July and August, trust me), and the Wi-Fi is solid throughout. I’ll be honest, the decor isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s clean and functional with decent beds that don’t creak every time you move. The bathrooms are compact but modern, with good water pressure – something you definitely can’t take for granted in older Croatian buildings.
Here’s the thing about this place that makes it work: it’s genuinely practical for people who want to experience Dubrovnik without paying Old Town prices or dealing with cruise ship crowds right outside their window. You’ve got a Konzum supermarket about a five-minute walk away, and the bus stop for the airport shuttle is super close. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. I’d definitely recommend it for couples or small families who plan to spend their days exploring rather than lounging around the accommodation. Just pack comfortable walking shoes, because you’ll be doing a fair bit of uphill walking if you’re heading to and from the historic center multiple times a day.

Exceptional They allowed us to store our luggage in their courtyard for a couple of hours after checking out. Fantastic location, comfortable bed, AC worked great.
What could be improved: Bathroom was small, shower leaked into rest of bath. Bathroom door could be changed to a pocket door or else open into main room.
Superb Es amplio y cómodo, y sobre todo muy bien ubicado. Los anfitriones son amables y nos permitieron dejar nuestras cosas para pasear por la ciudad. Buena relación precio-calidad.

Pleasant We really liked the location of this property. It’s about a 2 minute walk from Dubrovnik centre but because it’s slightly further away it’s quiet in the night time. The property is spacious with a modern kitchen and small bathroom and has good AC and free WIFI. The hosts were responsive to our needs and provided fresh towels every day.
What could be improved: We were missing a lot of facilities at the start and had to ask for them to be brought - kitchen knifes, salt, sweeping brush and I feel it could benefit from other facilities such as an ironing board and more kitchen appliances like a spoon, a fish slice. Dubrovnik is expensive so we tried to eat in when possible and without those appliances it was hard. We encountered a couple of other issues including the electricity cutting out (only for a couple of minutes) and ants emerging from a crack but the host kindly gave us spray.
Bon emplacement Emplacement top près de l'entrée de la vieille ville et des deux petites plages de la ville,calme, studio spacieux et nous avons pu laisser nos bagages jusqu'à 14h30 pour profiter de la journée.
What could be improved: Le studio est très sombre car la seule lumière vient de la porte fenêtre d'entrée,il est humide,pas d'eau chaude dans la cuisine,pas de petites cuillères, juste deux tasses mugs,pas de bol ni tasse à café,il manque plein de plaintes qui se décollent toutes et la ventilation de la salle de bain s'arrête au bout de 20 sec.
