Dubrovnik Premium Suite V Overview

You know what struck me first about Dubrovnik Premium Suite V? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Lapad where you can actually hear yourself think – which, honestly, is pretty remarkable considering how tourist-crazy Dubrovnik gets. I mean, Ulica Josipa Kosora isn’t exactly the kind of street name that rolls off the tongue, but locals just call it “that nice quiet area near the peninsula,” and they’re not wrong.

The suite itself is one of those places that makes you wonder why you ever settle for regular hotel rooms. Everything feels deliberately chosen rather than just ordered from some hospitality catalog – the kitchen actually has sharp knives (miracle!), the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that doesn’t leave you freezing, and the bed is positioned so you catch this nice cross-breeze in the evenings. The whole space has this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. What really got me was how they’d thought about the small stuff: proper blackout curtains for those summer sunrises that come way too early, a balcony that’s actually big enough to sit on with your morning coffee, and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi reaches every corner, even the bathroom. You’d be surprised how many “luxury” places mess that up.

Location-wise, you’re about a 20-minute walk to the Old Town, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: that walk takes you along the coastal path where locals go for their evening strolls. It’s actually prettier than being right in the thick of things, and way less expensive for grabbing dinner. There’s this little family-run konoba about five minutes away that doesn’t even have a proper sign – just look for the place with checkered tablecloths and the owner’s grandmother usually sitting outside. The Lapad peninsula has these hidden swimming spots that tour groups never find, and the hotel staff (who seem genuinely local, not just seasonal workers) actually know where they are and will draw you little maps.

Honestly, the 9.8 rating makes sense once you’ve been there. It’s not trying to be some flashy resort – it’s just really, really good at being what it is. The kind of place where check-in feels like visiting friends who happen to have impeccable taste and actually clean their guest bathroom. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and even then you could tell this was somewhere that attracts people who travel a lot and know the difference between genuine hospitality and the scripted stuff. The only minor thing – and I’m reaching here – is that the street can be a bit tricky to find the first time, especially if you’re arriving after dark. But once you’re there, you sort of don’t want to leave anyway.

  • Alma from Albania – 10 October 2024 (10/10)

The suite was impressively modern, featuring contemporary design elements and state-of-the-art amenities. It provided a high level of comfort with all the necessary conditions for a pleasant stay, including spacious living areas, a well-equipped kitchenette, and high-speed internet access. The attention to cleanliness was impeccable, with the suite being maintained to a very high standard.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. This made it incredibly convenient for both leisure and business purposes.

  • Em from Germany – 8 September 2024 (9/10)

Very clean and modern property. The welcome treats were a wonderful surprise. Extra bonus to have parking & AC available as well. Property managers were very responsive.

What could be improved: Beds were extremely firm. Blankets were thin. With AC it would be nice to have a duvet available. Only lotion was provided. For the price point it would be nice to have soap & shampoo as well.

  • Sophie from Spain – 25 August 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is modern – there's a tv and AC in every room. It's easy to access and there's private parking. Everything worked perfectly and it was really clean. Daniela and Frano are lovely and very responsive! Would definitely recommend their place!

  • Tianfeng from China – 17 August 2024 (10/10)

    Very nice house, recommended!

  • Natasha from Australia – 9 August 2024 (10/10)

Location was perfect just enough out of the hustle and noise of Dubrovnik.. 7 euro Uber into town or bus stop so close. It was lovely. Super fast wifi which is sometimes hard to get.. and air conditioner in each room 🙌🙌.. it was a lovely stay next time longer

What could be improved: There was nothing I didn’t like if I was to be picky just a small milk in the fridge for coffee or tea.

  • Marta from Poland – 7 May 2024 (10/10)

The apartment is modern, sapcious and very comfortable, with nice tarrace. It's fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and iron. There is a parking place, even for two cars. Walking distance to the old town is around 30 min. The hosts are were very helpful too.

  • Peter from United Kingdom – 29 April 2024 (10/10)

Hosts, Location & Facilities were Perfect for us, simple short Uber got us to Old Town and back quickly & efficiently. Hosts very accommodating in helping us with all requests and recommendations on restaurants etc

Highly recommended for a 3 night stay in Dubrovnik

What could be improved: Nothing we didn't like about the accommodation, although would've preferred slightly wider (King Sized) beds

  • Lora from Ireland – 29 October 2023 (10/10)

    The apartment was fabulous
It was spotless clean and very new
Excellently equipped, and the owners were so accommodating

What could be improved: It's just a little bit too far out for 4 young children to walk to the city, but the ubers were available within minutes
