What really impressed me was how they managed to fit modern amenities into such an old space without making it feel forced or awkward. But they give you solid directions to the nearest parking areas, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance, and I mean everything – the city walls, Rector’s Palace, those little side streets where you’ll find the best konoba restaurants away from the main tourist drag. The rating of 9 makes total sense to me because this isn’t trying to be a luxury hotel experience – it’s trying to be an authentic way to stay in one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities, and it absolutely delivers on that promise.
