Sometimes the best discoveries come from lowered expectations. This little spot sits right in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, and I mean *right* in it – you’re literally steps away from the main drag without dealing with the worst of the tourist chaos.
The thing about staying here is that you’re getting the real Old Town experience, which means stone walls, narrow streets, and yeah, some quirks that come with a building that’s probably older than your great-grandmother. The rooms are clean and honestly pretty comfortable for the price point, though don’t expect luxury – this is backpacker territory done right. What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the city beyond just the standard tourist spots. They pointed me toward this tiny konoba (that’s a local tavern, basically) tucked away on a side street that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my favorite meals in Croatia.
Here’s the practical stuff that actually matters: parking is a nightmare in Old Town – I mean, it’s basically pedestrian-only anyway – so plan on walking from wherever you leave your car. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. The morning sounds are incredible… church bells mixing with the clatter of delivery carts on stone streets, and you can smell fresh bread from the bakery down the street before 7 AM. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not fancy, but it delivers exactly what it promises. During peak summer (July-August), the streets can get pretty packed with cruise ship crowds, but early morning and late evening, when you’re coming back from dinner, the Old Town transforms into something almost magical. Just be prepared for some noise if you’re a light sleeper – those stone walls echo, and Dubrovnik doesn’t exactly go to sleep early. But if you’re looking for an authentic base to explore from without breaking the bank, and you don’t mind trading some amenities for location and character, this place hits the sweet spot.

What could be improved: If you are looking for a calm hostel and silence at night, then it’s not the place for you.Its very noisy at night due to the parties in the town.

Clean, great lockers, excellent location, great kitchen,lots of toilets and showers, bunk beds were solid and did not squeak.
What could be improved: The price when I booked was much less than I was asked to pay at the property.
Really nice hostel. Location is great (probably one of the best in Dubrovnik) and had really nice rooms and showers. Outside terrace was also really nice to chill in.
What could be improved: A bit more indoor communal space would have been nice and might have made things even more social, but no real issues.

What could be improved: There was a lot of mold in the shower's celing. Appart from that, everything was perfect and clean.
Excellent location! Right in the middle of the Old Town! Hostel was always very clean, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Everyone had a locker each. I was able to leave my luggage there after I checked out as my bus wasn’t until later in the day.
What could be improved: Kitchen was very small - only 1-2 people could use it at a time. Outside area could be nicer. No organised activities. Hostel doesn’t take card payments which means a lot of my cash was taken at once.

What could be improved: The pipe system can't handle the amount of people. Taking a shower during peak hours is very unpleasant, with both the temperature and pressure fluctuating all the time.
despite not having any facilitated social activities the hostel was super social and I made such good friends here, everyone chats in the kitchen! Location was great and close to cheap super markets, loved that towels were provided and the hostel was super clean. The terrace was also really nice
What could be improved: The hostel could put on some social activities or maybe more furniture in the terrace, my light by my bed also did not work.
