What could be improved: As others have said the steps to the property , you have to look at how Dubrovnik is built and that’s how it is , once in the property the views are lovely.
The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the hospitality of our hosts was second to none - they were so kind and generous, making the stay super special. The home itself is gorgeous and obviously well loved, with all the facilities you could ever want for your stay in Dubrovnik. Will definitely book to stay here again if I go back.
The hosts were really helpful for example they came to the main road to show us where to park our car (parking space was not included in the price - finding a parking space in Dubrovnik is a challenge) and led us to the apartment.
The house was beautiful and the view from the garden was spectacular.
What could be improved: Some have said there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment. This is somewhat true but we felt it’s like that overall in the city. If you come to Dubrovnik, be prepared to walk some stairs, wherever you stay.
What stood out was the kindness of Katarina and her parents. Upon arrival there were freshly baked cookies and fruits waiting for us and halfway through our stay we suddenly found fresh pancakes in the morning, what a surprise! There was quick and easy communication, also when there appeared to be a problem in the shower. They came and solved it immediately. A big 10 for hospitality!
