Dom was really helpful and provided all the details we needed. The apartment had all the facilities we needed and was exactly as described.
What could be improved: There was nothing we disliked we would however provide feedback on a few things the apartment could benefit from:- a full length mirror, kitchen sensor light to be removed as it was too bright at night.
Unfortunately the residents upstairs always made too much noise between 9pm and 11pm but this is not a fault of this

First Impressions
Walking through the narrow stone streets of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, you might almost miss Imperia II – Chic! place tucked away on Ulica od Kaštela — but that’s actually part of its charm. This four-star boutique property sits right in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site, and I mean literally in the heart. You’re surrounded by centuries-old limestone walls and baroque architecture, yet step inside and there’s this refreshing modern sensibility that doesn’t try too hard to be trendy. The contrast works beautifully, honestly.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re maybe a two-minute walk from the Rector’s Palace and about the same to reach the main Stradun promenade, but you’re on a quieter side street that doesn’t get the constant flow of day-trippers. Couples seem to really appreciate this balance (they’ve rated the location 8.5, which makes sense), because you get that romantic old-world atmosphere without feeling like you’re living in a theme park. The morning coffee runs to local cafés are easy, and when you want to escape the crowds, you just duck back to your peaceful corner of the old city.
The Rooms
The accommodations at Imperia II – Chic! place strike this nice balance between contemporary comfort and respecting the historic setting. You know what impressed me? They’ve managed to fit modern amenities into these old stone buildings without making it feel forced or awkward. The rooms aren’t huge — this is a medieval city center, after all — but they’re thoughtfully designed with clean lines and quality furnishings. The bathrooms are particularly well done, and honestly, after a day of walking those ancient cobblestones, a good shower is exactly what you need.
Exploring from Here
What makes this place special is how effortlessly you can slip into the rhythm of Dubrovnik life. Step out your door and you’re immediately part of the old town’s daily theater — locals heading to market, restaurant owners setting up for the day, maybe some early-morning joggers doing laps around the city walls. The famous walls are literally a few minutes’ walk away, and if you’re planning that iconic sunset walk up there, you’ll appreciate not having to trek across the entire old town to get back to your room afterward. Plus, being this central means you can easily pop back for an afternoon rest when the midday sun gets intense.
Why Guests Love It
I think what draws people to this property is that it feels authentically Dubrovnik without sacrificing comfort. You’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, but you’ve still got the upscale amenities and service you’d expect from a four-star hotel. The location score of 8.7 tells the story — guests consistently rave about being able to experience the old town like a local while having easy access to all the must-see sights. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the city’s living history rather than just observing it from the outside.

What Our Guests Say
The location of the property within Dubrovnik’s old city walls is great. Plenty of hot water always available, large comfortable bed, and a large area for two people. Dom the owner was always accessible and rectified small requests very promptly
What could be improved: Could be regarded a little dark with just two smallish windows. Although exceptionally well lit, it would be nice to have a floor standing lamp in the living area so the lounge area wasn’t either super bright or dark. I appreciate it is coming to the end of season, but a couple of draws were broken, there was no plug in the kitchen sink, and one of the bathroom towels had a hole in it (and we think the shower leaked but Dom thought that was us not closing the doors properly
It’s so nice it is located in the Old City! We can go do a walk on the walls then come back and relax at our room.
What could be improved: Nothing. Great to have a little kitchen !
Location was great. The apartment was perfect, clean and felt brand new.
Good location - close to the centre and quiet.
What could be improved: Bathroom is small.
Dom was extremely friendly and accommodating to our every needs. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was very stylish.
We loved Dubrovnik and cannot wait to return!
We were on a jet2 holiday on the island of Mjlet and we wanted to go to Dubrovnik for the day but due to the ferry times the only way to really spend time there was to find a room and stay over. We literally booked this the night before we arrived and it exceeded all of my expectations! Dom is an incredible host, so communicative and helpful. The apartment is located right in Dubrovnik Old Town, and you can hear the hustle and bustle during the day but its wonderfully peaceful at night.
Its decorated beautifully, and has everything you need for a long stay. We will definitley be back for a week or so at some point.
What could be improved: I didn't like having to leave!
Very comfy, although snug. We didn’t cook but easily could have. We had takeout pizza in the kitchen. Bed, shower, hot water kettle - all great!
What could be improved: Sometimes noisy when people are walking by - but that was only during the daytime. Otherwise, very quiet. My husband wasn’t crazy about walking up the stone steps, but he has a bad knee.
The flat was lovely, extremely well located, and our host Dom, was si accessible and easy to reach always. Great experience.
The location is unbeatable and the host was very helpful with getting an airport ride.
What could be improved: Tiny bit cramped for 4 people but the bed is quite large.
