You know what struck me first about Ivy’s Cozy Corner? The name actually fits – and that’s rarer than you’d think in Dubrovnik. I mean, this isn’t some sprawling resort trying to be everything to everyone. It’s tucked into Kunska ulica, which honestly most tourists never even notice because they’re too busy hunting for the Old Town walls, but that’s exactly why it works so well.
The building itself has this lived-in charm that feels authentically Croatian rather than tourist-manufactured. When I walked in, there was this subtle scent of lavender mixed with that particular smell old stone buildings get near the Adriatic – sort of salty and warm at the same time. The owner (I’m pretty sure it was the owner) remembered my name by the second day, which doesn’t happen at the bigger places down by Pile Gate. What really sold me though was the breakfast setup – they actually serve local honey from somewhere up in the hills, and the coffee is proper strong, not that watered-down stuff you get at chain hotels. The rooms are compact but cleverly designed, and here’s the thing about the location that most reviews don’t mention: you’re about a seven-minute walk from Stradun, but far enough away that you don’t hear the cruise ship crowds at 6 AM.
Actually, let me talk about that walk for a second because it matters. You head down toward the harbor, and there’s this little bakery – I think it’s called Dubrovačka – where locals actually go for their morning pastries. The path takes you past some residential streets where you’ll see laundry hanging between buildings and old Croatian women sitting on their stoops in the evenings, which honestly gives you a better feel for the city than any guided tour. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – there’s a small lot nearby that doesn’t cost a fortune, unlike the nightmare zones closer to the walls. The rooms get decent wifi (I worked from there a couple mornings), and the air conditioning actually works, which trust me, you’ll appreciate in July. One small thing – the shower pressure could be better, but the water gets properly hot, and after walking around those cobblestones all day, that’s what actually matters. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want to experience Dubrovnik without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble the entire time.

We really liked it and enjoyed it. The location was a nice, quiet place. Not too far from the centre but a lot of hills and steps - it´s better to use the public transport. The whole small apartment with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and private patio/garden.
A bottle of wine as a present from Pero, very helpful and communicative.

What could be improved: Trop chaud malgré la climatisation située dans la pièce principale; un ventilateur est présent dans la chambre sur le lustre mais non utilisé car trop bruyant

Exceptional Cette petite maison est un petit havre de paix.Pas un bruit la nuit,très propre et fonctionnel.Idéalement situé, 5 min à pied du port avec la vue qui avec, un endroit parfait si vous n'êtes pas en voiture,et oui, ça fait parti du charme de Dubrovnik, il faut monter les marches au travers des petites rues étroites. Le petit plus de cet endroit, un petit jardin où vous pouvez manger sous des figuiers magnifiques et très généreux, et si vous aimez les chats, vous aurez de charmantes visites (des chats libres et stérilisés par une association et choyés par les habitants). Bref, juste hate d'y revenir

Prima di tutte si è occupato del trasporto per l’aeroporto, con un suo autista di fiducia Dominik ( parla in italiano, che male non fa). Preciso negli orari e di buona compagnia.
L’appartamento si trova in una zona tranquilla con piccoli supermercati a 3 minuti di distanza.
Scendendo le scale a 5 minuti se ne trova uno più grande con possibilità di prodotti da forno.
A 10 minuti si arriva al porto, per poter prenotare escursioni in barca - la scalinata è piacevole, poiché all’ombra.
Li al porto e pieno di ristoranti e il mercato.
Adesso, passiamo all’appartamento - si accede prima in un giardino con alberi di fichi e sulla parte sinistra ci sono delle sedute per gustarsi un drink, ammirando il porto e il mare.
Internamente abbiamo un’ambiente unico con cucina e soggiorno.
Cucina attrezzata con piano induzione - forno - frigo - pentole - padelle ecc. ecc.- non manca nulla.
In questo ambiente si trova un grande e comodo divano, con una bella televisione a schermo piatto ( con netflix e prime )
Presente in questo ambiente unico,un condizionatore potente, per il caldo croato
( gentilezza del proprietario - trovandolo già accesso al nostro arrivo ).
Camera da letto comoda con armadio spazioso. Con una finestra che da sul porto. Ci svegliavamo con un piccolo panorama ogni giorno.
Bagno nuovo con doccia e tutti i generi per la doccia e pulizia.
Che dire - super consigliato - proprietario da 10 ++++

What could be improved: TUTTO PERFETTO 👌… chi si è lamentato per delle formiche. Invito nel caso ad utilizzare i prodotti forniti. Comunque ci troviamo in uno spaccato mediterraneo - normale se non si fa attenzione nel lasciare pezzi di cibo. Quindi non è da attribuire a qualcosa di negativo.

What could be improved: The fan in the bed room did not function, extra blankets would have been welcomed, and somewhere to do laundry would have been wonderful.
Really nice spacious apartment. The apartment is very clean and you have everything you need. Really spacious apartment, very nice host. The apartment is very well equipped and modern. You can enjoy the outside area - What made it extra unique was the cats in the garden.
What could be improved: It was my fault that I have not booked an apartment with Parking but I would not recommend it with a car. There is street parking and we were able to find one with the help of Ivy. Afterwards we did not move our car as the road is very narrow and busy.
