Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked down Nalješkovićeva ulica looking for this place, I almost missed it entirely. The street’s tucked away in one of those quieter corners of Dubrovnik’s Old Town where you actually hear your footsteps on the ancient stone instead of tour groups chattering. Lima Central Old City isn’t trying to be flashy, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it work.
The thing about staying inside the city walls is that you’re literally living in a UNESCO World Heritage site, which sounds incredible until you realize that means your room might be in a 600-year-old building with walls thick enough to survive sieges but not thick enough to completely block out the guy practicing violin in the apartment next door at 7 AM. But here’s what I loved about this place – it strikes this perfect balance between authentic old-world charm and actually being comfortable. The rooms have that gorgeous stone-and-beam aesthetic you’d expect, but they’ve clearly put thought into things like decent Wi-Fi and bathrooms that don’t make you feel like you’re camping. I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everything, but the details feel right.
What really sold me on Lima Central was the location within the location, if that makes sense. You’re deep enough in the Old Town to feel like you’re part of the fabric of the place – I could walk to Stradun in maybe three minutes, but I was also close to these tiny side streets where locals actually hang their laundry and old men play chess outside cafés that don’t have English menus. The morning I left, I grabbed coffee from this little place around the corner that I’m pretty sure has been run by the same family since the 1980s. You know what you won’t find on Nalješkovićeva? Cruise ship crowds at 6 AM, because the tour groups stick to the main drags. That alone is worth the 8.4 rating this place gets. Sure, you’ll hear some noise from the restaurants nearby when dinner service gets going, but by 11 PM things quiet down to just the sound of your own footsteps echoing off medieval stones. There’s something pretty magical about having morning coffee in a place where the biggest decision is whether to wander down to the harbor or up to the city walls, and you can make that choice without fighting through crowds of people taking selfies.

Excellent location, clean today perfect base in old town. Location of this flat is amazing.. perfect very central old town. Its also a very comfortable apartment with excellent price/value for the area. You need to be able to climb stairs though.. plenty up and down.. kitchen with everything you need, it is above a bar.. so we thought it was going to be noisy.. but the windows are excellent noise blockers! excellent stay!!
Disappointed on the alternative accommodations the rental agency offered us. What could be improved: We never got to stay here. The day before we were to check in, we only found out when my hubby contacted the property to remind them we were coming, that there was some water issues and we could not stay. We did not like that we had to stay in Lapad instead of the old town, for a discounted price. We should have got our refund, but did not want to pay an extra 400-500 euros, for booking the day before, to stay in the old town. The buses were always full or continued on, whenever we wanted to take them, so spent more money taking ubers to get back and forth. Really put a damper our stay in Dubrovnik.

Strategic location, perfect for a few days stay in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town. The location was unquestionable, just off the Stradun (main street). Easy to get to anywhere! Shower stall with good water pressure, washer (detergent not provided) and air conditioner were great too.
What could be improved: The 6.5 flight of stairs. The unit is located on the top most floor so be prepared to carry your bags up. Also it is not on a quiet street especially at night (chatters and buzzes could be heard from restaurants below).

What could be improved: The bed in the single bedroom is broke, and also the place need to have atleast fans inside teh bedrooms because it’s so hot and only have the ac in the living room.
