Look, I’ll be straight with you about Opus Two – it’s one of those finds that actually delivers on the whole “apartment hotel” thing without the usual disappointments. The location on Hebranga Street is honestly pretty smart, and I mean that in a way most tourists wouldn’t immediately get. You’re about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town walls, which sounds far until you realize you’re dodging 90% of the cruise ship crowds and tourist traps that clog up everything closer to Pile Gate.

The private parking situation is worth its weight in gold if you’re driving – and honestly, having a car in Dubrovnik is way more useful than people think, especially if you want to hit up places like Cavtat or those hidden beaches locals actually use. The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate. The kitchen’s got real dishes and proper coffee equipment, not those sad little hotel packets. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night – you’re in a residential area where actual Croatians live, so you’ll hear normal neighborhood sounds instead of drunk tourists stumbling back from Stradun at 3 AM.

The 3-star rating is about right, though I’d say it punches above its weight in terms of space and that whole “actually living somewhere” vibe. The 7.5 rating makes sense too – there are definitely some rough edges (the WiFi can be spotty, and don’t expect luxury linens), but the fundamentals are solid. You know what I really liked? The owner clearly knows the area and left actual recommendations, not just the obvious tourist stuff. They pointed me toward this little bakery on Branitelja Dubrovnika that does incredible burek, and honestly, that’s the kind of insider knowledge that makes a stay memorable. The whole setup works especially well if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights – you can actually settle in, hit the nearby Konzum for groceries, and live like a human being instead of bouncing between restaurants and hotel breakfast buffets.

  Host is super friendly, they have parking space which is super convenient and great. Good beds, hot shower. Around only 15 min to Dubrovnik center by foot. Great place for its value.

  The space, there are 2 beds with a bathroom and toilet, very spacious. The other room has a sofa, which I assume is a sofa bed, but never tested it out. It also has a kitchenette and another toilet.
  Parking is right outside ,which is very convenient, the walk to the old town was not too long.
  
  
  
  But overall a very good stay, value for money and close to old town with free parking outside. Very convenient to get to as well.

  What could be improved: The only downside is the smell of smoke in the living room.

  Comfortable apartment located in walking distance from the old town and easy to reach from the bus terminal. Supermarket is nearby and so is a pizzeria for take away. Very friendly host who responded quickly to all our questions and even letting us leave our bags there whilst we were exploring the old town.
  
  What could be improved: As a none smoker the strong smell of cigarettes in the living room was a bit too much.

  The host is very nice and allowed us to have a later check out. The apartment itself is not too far away from the old town and the beach as well and easily accessible.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom and the floors were not really clean and sticky and there were hairs and other stuff in the shower and the sink
