The number 6 bus runs regularly to Pile Gate (the main entrance to Old Town), and the ride takes about twelve minutes when traffic cooperates. Walking to the Old Town is doable too, maybe thirty-five minutes if you’re in decent shape and don’t mind the hills. Having that parking spot means you can easily explore places like Cavtat or the Elafiti Islands without worrying about finding a space when you return.
