Friendly and more than well-equiped lovely little home in the best location and the nicest host we have ever met.
Our trip was much better than we had expected thanks to location and the kindness of Vinko.
Great location, just around the corner from the Old City (five minute walk), but on a side street so much quieter and no traffic noise. It's a full apartment, including kitchen and laundry, and was at least 30 percent less expensive than everything else we found online.
More importantly, Vinko, the owner, is the best. He stocked the apartment with all kinds of food, drink, snacks, water, wine, beer, etc, but also gave us tons of information on what places to check out, what to avoid, restaurants, what times would be busiest, how to get around, etc. He was very responsive, and kept offering to do anything else to improve our stay, but he and the place were so great to begin with there was nothing to improve. There's a reason he has all 10/10 reviews.

The location was close to the old city, close to transportation and close to the water. In our opinion, the location could not be any better. The room was very clean well, supplied with a small kitchen, washer and dryer. It had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The room was very quiet while inside, even though it was close to everything. The amount of stairs from the apartment to the street level was minimal.
What could be improved: We can’t think of anything that we didn’t like about the property.

Everything! The location is amazing, a perfect hidden GEM right outside the entry to the old town. Clean and peaceful. Our host Vinko made our stay unforgettable! He organised our transport from the airport and greeted us to help us with our luggage, and even welcomed us with a variety of his own home made liquor which was delicious. Also treated us to a stocked fridge and kitchen! He made us feel so comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
Everything. Personal service. Lovely clean room with comfy bed, amazing shower, washing machine and stocked fridge was awesome. Our host was the best. Only a few stairs to the apartment which is good and quiet beautiful area still close to centre. Definitely one of the best places and hosts we have had.

The host is just a wonderful person. The apartment looks and is better than the majority of hotel rooms I stayed in, it has an excellent bathroom, bed, furniture and other equipment. Location is great and also wifi works very good. Honestly, it was a 11/10 experience overall.
Vinko was the best host we’ve ever experienced!! From start to finish he couldn’t do enough for us! When we arrived he showed us how to work everything and pointed out places in the local area. He had stocked the fridge with wine, beers, fruit, milk etc which was a lovely touch!
Vinko checked up on us throughout the trip to make sure we were having the best experience during our stay recommending places to see.
We would both highly recommend apartment Freddy, the location, the fantastic host, the modern decor and it is spotlessly clean! There is a local bar, beach and the old town is easily accessible. The area is much quieter and less busy which we found much better than being in the old town.
Apartment Freddy was amazing. It is in a great spot to enjoy the old town and also swim and enjoy the local area. The apartment was everything that had been advertised.
Our host Vinko as amazing. Awesome information and assistance prior to arriving, arranged transport from the airport, provided complementary beer, wine, fruit and other goodies on our arrival. Vinko even assisted us with our luggage storage on the last day.
What could be improved: Realizing now that there are stairs everywhere in Dubrovnik and they can’t be avoided, we were however taken by surprise at the number of steps when we arrived.
The studio was very well lit, with lots of amenities from Vinko the owner. It was extremely clean and well organized, and overall the space was used very well. Personally I loved the pillows and bed itself— I’ve stayed in 5 other countries this trip, and this bed was the most comfortable of any hotel or AirBnB experience I’ve stayed in. Gracious man with lots of traveling experience himself, and welcome to helping ensure you have a great trip to Dubrovnik. The location is perfect and right outside the old town walls. The neighborhood is very safe at night. Highly recommend!!
