Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to shout about themselves. This four-star boutique property has that understated elegance that immediately puts you at ease, and the fact that there’s parking right on site (which is basically gold in Dubrovnik) told me the owners actually understand what travelers need.
Location & Neighborhood
Lapad is where smart visitors stay, and I mean that. Sure, everyone thinks they need to be right in Old Town, but Dubrovnik‘s peninsula gives you the best of both worlds — you’re close enough to walk to the action (about 15 minutes to the city walls), but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The Lapad promenade is just a few minutes’ walk down the hill, and honestly, those sunset views over the Adriatic are something you’ll remember long after you’ve forgotten what you paid for dinner in the tourist zone.
