Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Zeus Faber Apartment” in my booking confirmation, I thought it was some kind of quirky fish reference (Zeus faber is actually the scientific name for John Dory, if you’re into that sort of thing). But walking into this place on Vinka Sagrestana street, I realized the name fits perfectly because this apartment is honestly a bit of a rare catch in Dubrovnik.

The location is what really gets me excited about this place. You’re in Lapad, which means you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about 20 minutes along the coastal path – actually one of the most beautiful strolls in Croatia, trust me on this. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: staying in Lapad means you’re where the locals actually live and hang out. There’s this fantastic morning market just a few streets over, and the beaches in Lapad Bay are way less crowded than anything near the city walls. The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish Croatian aunt decided to rent out her place – you know, the cool aunt who has great taste and actually cares about thread count. The space is genuinely luxurious without being stuffy, and I mean that 9.9 rating isn’t just booking site inflation. The kitchen is properly equipped (I’m talking real knives and a coffee maker that doesn’t require an engineering degree), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works. What surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night – Vinka Sagrestana is residential enough that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowds stumbling back from Stradun at 2 AM, but you’re also not stuck in some remote suburb.

The whole setup just works for people who want to experience Dubrovnik without feeling like they’re living in a museum. You can grab groceries at the Konzum down the street, catch bus line 6 right to Pile Gate when you want to do the touristy stuff, and – this is key – you’ve got actual parking options nearby, which is basically a miracle in this city. I stayed here in late September, and honestly, it felt like having a local friend’s apartment rather than just another hotel room. The kind of place where you’ll find yourself making coffee in the morning and planning your day from the balcony instead of rushing out to some lobby breakfast buffet. For a 3-star rating, this place seriously overdelivers.

  Tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean, excellent location between Old Town and Lapad, 5-10min walk from the beach.
  it's very quiet as it is on the side, and you cannot hear any cars or noise.

  Ljerka is very nice host. She provided us very helpful informations about the things to do and the places to eat typical Croatian food :). The appartment is very nice, spacious and situated in a calm environment. It can easily accomodate 4 people and having two bathrooms with toilets is a real plus if you are with family. The beach is about 5 minutes walk and the bus stop to go to the city center is about 2 minutes away. We had very pleasant stay.

  Bardzo miła właścicielka – naprawdę dba o swoich gości.
  Wygodne łóżka, bardzo czysto, dobre wyposażenie, klimatyzacja. 2 łazienki. Nowocześnie urządzony apartament.
  Dobra lokalizacja – cisza i spokój, około 1,5 km od bramy Pile, blisko przystanku autobusowego, skąd co chwilę odjeżdżają autobusy do centrum. Warto skorzystać z "Dubrovnik pass" – wstępy na mury i do muzeów oraz komunikacja miejska w cenie. W bliskim sąsiedztwie apartamentu są restauracje, kawiarnia i sklepu spożywcze.

  Lokalizacja według mnie ,,wypadowo” rewelacyjna bo można stwierdzić ze po środku starego miasta a Lapad. Do tego pod nosem knajpka Mr.Foster godna polecenia plaża Bellevue 5minut drogi. Stare miasto nocą i dniem robi wrażenie te uliczki, ale 5dni jednak z dzieckiem to za mało żeby zobaczyć wszystko i będzie trzeba ponownie odwiedzić Dubrovnik

  Großes, modernes und toll eingerichtetes Appartement in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend.
  In 15 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt oder am Hafen.
  Die Gastgeber sind extrem hilfsbereit und nett. Vielen Dank nochmals für die Gastfreundschaft.
