The apartment sits in what I’d call the sweet spot of Old Town – close enough to everything that matters, but just off the main tourist drag so you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds right outside your window. Strossmayera runs parallel to the more famous Placa (that’s the main pedestrian street, if you’re not familiar), so you get easy access without the constant foot traffic. I actually loved being able to duck into one of those tiny konobas for dinner and then just… walk home. No taxi drama, no figuring out bus schedules. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but everything works properly and it’s been maintained well.
