You know what really struck me about Apartment Lejletul? It’s one of those places that feels like you’re staying at a friend’s well-appointed apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. The building sits on Vatroslava Lisinskog street, which honestly might sound intimidating to pronounce, but locals just call it “Lisinski” and it’s actually this quiet residential stretch that’s perfectly positioned – you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town without being stuck in the tourist chaos.
The apartment itself has that modern Croatian aesthetic that’s becoming pretty popular around Dubrovnik – clean lines, good lighting, and they’ve clearly put thought into the details. I mean, the bathroom actually has decent water pressure (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in older European buildings), and the kitchen is equipped well enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to skip the restaurant scene for a night. The bed was comfortable too, though I’ll admit I was worried about street noise since it’s still in the city – but this part of Dubrovnik gets surprisingly quiet in the evenings. You’ll hear the occasional car, but nothing that kept me awake.
What I really appreciated was how the hosts seem to get what travelers actually need. There’s proper WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, the air conditioning works without sounding like a jet engine, and they’ve got these little touches like good coffee and actual hangers in the closet. The location is honestly ideal if you’re planning to explore both the historic sites and maybe venture out to some of the beaches – you’re walking distance from the Pile Gate area, but you can also catch buses to places like Banje Beach or even day trips to the islands without too much hassle. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (it’s Dubrovnik, after all), but they’ll actually give you proper directions instead of just waving vaguely toward the street. The whole experience feels more personal than your typical hotel stay – it’s got that 9.6 rating for good reason, and I’d definitely stay here again, especially during shoulder season when you can actually enjoy the city without fighting crowds at every turn.

I liked everything about the property. Located in a quiet area but not far from Lapad. There’s also a Supermaket and pharmacy in close proximity.
What could be improved: Nothing
Apartment Lejletul is decorated with style and it has all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking, extremely comfortable bed, all the streaming services (in case of a rainy day) and a nice shower. The neighborhood was quiet, the bus stop to the Old Town and a little market are few hundred meters from the apartment. Our host Edina was also very helpful and quick to reply. She recommended the restaurant Taj Mahal in Old Town, where we had our last delicious dinner. Overall, I am so glad that I found this place and will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

Very well-equipped apartment and had everything we needed. It is super clean and all the facilities are very new, definitely to stay again in future.
What could be improved: The water for showering can't be kept hot for long period due to the boiler needs time to boil the water before showering.

What could be improved: No kitchen plates in the apartment?
The place excited all of our expectations. It is a new, modern and clean apartment with everything you could possible need. The kitchen has all the supplies for cooking (if you prefer it) and a coffee machine. The bedroom has really nice bed and good view.
We really appreciate having two conditioners in separate rooms as in summer it could get pretty hot.
Nice beach in walking distance (around 7-10 minutes), great place to eat near by called Solitudo Beer and Grill (highly recommend to try tuna steak there), grocery store in 10 minutes walk.
The apartment quite far from the city center, but the city bus stop is nearby, so it wasn't an issues. Plus, you can get a Dubrovnik pass, to save some money on the bus tickets.
What could be improved: Nothing. Our stay and this place were perfect.
