The apartment’s got that slightly dated European feel – think functional furniture and basic kitchen setup – but honestly, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly during those sweltering July afternoons. There’s even a little balcony where you can have your morning coffee without tourists walking by taking photos of you eating breakfast.

What really won me over was the location, though. Lapad Peninsula is where Dubrovnik locals go to escape the madness, and you’re literally a five-minute walk from Lapad Beach. Not the rocky, crowded spots near the city walls – this is an actual sandy beach with clear water and reasonable prices at the beach bars. In the evenings, I’d walk down to the Lapad promenade where there are all these family-run restaurants serving fresh fish without the Old Town markup. The whole area quiets down after 10 PM, which was perfect for sleeping – no late-night revelers stumbling past your window. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (street parking only), but most people take the bus or walk anyway. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s clean, affordable, and puts you in a part of Dubrovnik that most tourists never discover.
