The beach situation is pretty sweet too – Lapad Bay is right there, and it’s got that perfect mix of locals and visitors without feeling like a tourist trap. Getting to the Old Town is straightforward enough; you can walk it in about twenty minutes if you’re feeling ambitious, or hop on the local bus that runs regularly. I actually preferred the walk most days – gives you time to mentally prepare for the crowds and appreciate how different these two sides of Dubrovnik really are. The apartment’s rating of 9.7 makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s one of those places where every little detail just works, and you find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.
