Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Dubrovnik, and this apartment on Savska street is honestly one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret. The Lapad peninsula isn’t where most tourists end up – they’re all cramming into the Old Town or staying at those massive resort hotels – but that’s exactly why this spot works so well. You’re maybe a 15-minute bus ride from Stradun, but you actually get to breathe and feel like you’re living somewhere real.
The terrace is what got me first. I mean, you walk in and there’s this decent-sized apartment with all the basics covered (good WiFi, proper AC that actually works, kitchen that doesn’t make you want to cry), but then you step outside and there’s this private little oasis situation happening. The jacuzzi isn’t huge – maybe fits four people if you’re all friends – but after spending the day hiking around Lokrum or dealing with the crowds at the city walls, sinking into warm water while looking out over the neighborhood… honestly, it’s perfect. The neighbors are mostly locals, so evenings are pretty quiet, though you’ll hear some traffic from Lapad’s main drag during the day.
What I really appreciated was how the owner clearly gets what travelers actually need. There’s proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re jet-lagged), decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound small but trust me – good lighting in the bathroom mirror. The kitchen has real plates and glasses, not those flimsy things you usually get in vacation rentals. Parking was surprisingly easy too; there’s street parking right there, and unlike the Old Town area where you’re basically playing parking roulette, you can actually find a spot without losing your mind. The walk to Lapad’s beach is maybe 10 minutes, and there’s a solid little market just down the street where you can grab breakfast stuff or a bottle of that local wine that’s way better than it has any right to be. You know what really sealed it for me though? The whole vibe just felt… unstressed. Sometimes these highly-rated places make you nervous to touch anything, but this felt like staying at a friend’s place – if your friend happened to have really good taste and a jacuzzi.

A very comfortable stay Beautiful apartment, very clean, host was approachable. Hot tub was great after days out exploring. Apartment is well located near a bus stop. Easy access to Uber/Taxi too.

Everything was perfect!
Fantastic location Delores Apt was spotless and met all our needs as a family of four. Set in a perfect location in Lapad bay, not far from the Old City. This is my third visit to Dubrovnik and my first time in Lapad and for sure it is my preferred location for family. Plenty to do. This apartment is a stones throw to the sunset beach, supermarket, bakery and bus to the Old City. It has everything you need if you wish to cook in. We dined out as it was a short stay for us. So many restaurants, hotels and bars close-by. The Cave bar is a must to watch the picturesque sunsets. Thank you Toni & Sandra for hosting us. Thank you for the fresh towels for the hot tub, you have a beautiful place, we had such a lovely stay Hvala! 😎
