There’s a small market just around the corner on Jadranska where you can grab basics, and the local bus stop is close enough that you can easily get to Lapad or the port without dealing with the nightmare that is driving in Dubrovnik.

Honestly, for a three-star place, the whole experience punches above its weight. The staff actually seems to care – they’ll text you parking instructions before you arrive (because parking in Dubrovnik is basically a contact sport), and when I had an issue with the washing machine, someone was there within an hour. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it gets all the fundamentals right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Plus, when you’re spending most of your day exploring the old town or lounging by the sea, you just want a comfortable, authentic place to come back to – and that’s exactly what this is.
