The area gets genuinely quiet at night, which was perfect after long days of sightseeing and dealing with cruise ship crowds. Parking can be a bit tricky – street parking is hit or miss, and you’ll want to ask the hosts about the best spots. They know the neighborhood parking rhythm better than anyone. Is it perfect? Well, no – the furnishings are a bit dated, and the breakfast situation is pretty basic. But for a solid 3-star place with a 7.5 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises: a clean, comfortable base for exploring one of Croatia’s most beautiful cities without the tourist markup you’ll find closer to the walls.
