The name’s a little misleading though – it’s not some towering glass monster, just a solid modern building that actually fits pretty well into the neighborhood vibe on Put Stjepana Cvijića.

Here’s what I loved about the location: you’re far enough from the Old Town madness that you can actually sleep at night (trust me, those limestone streets echo every single tourist conversation at 2 AM), but close enough that it’s maybe a 15-minute walk down the hill. The street itself is quiet – mostly locals going about their business, which means you get to see actual Croatian life instead of just souvenir shops and overpriced konobas. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there sometimes, you know? Not that sterile hotel room vibe where everything’s beige and bolted down. The price point feels fair for what you get, especially considering you’re not paying the Old Town premium while still being close enough to walk there whenever the mood strikes.
