A very nice and comfortable small apartment in Dubrovnik’s Old Town. Very good location if you want to stay in the Old Town and don’t mind hordes of tourists day and night, and the associated noise! No matter where you stay in the Old Town, it will be noisy, so you just have to accept it and bring ear plugs with you. The town is usually very quiet by midnight and it’s lovely at 6am, when it’s calm and peaceful. The apartment is on a quieter side street (narrow laneway). Our apartment was on L1 and there is another apartment above the one we stayed in. On our first night, the people above us were very noisy, you can hear everything, but the next 4 nights were quieter. Our apartment was very comfortable and modern - the bed & pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and it has an excellent shower. Plenty of toilet paper, shampoo/body wash & hand soap provided. The air con worked really well thankfully, as the weather was very hot and humid. Our host, Anamaria, was lovely - very friendly and helpful. Once we got used to the crowds in the Old Town, we quite enjoyed it - everyone is chilled and well behaved, there are loads of places to eat, and people-watching is a fascinating spectator sport!!
What could be improved: The lack of noise insulation, you hear everything - the people outside in the laneway, the people in the apartment above you, people going up & down the stairs outside your apartment door. A washing machine would be super useful.

First Impressions
Walking up to Villa Flores Studio Apartment, you immediately understand why couples rave about this place. It’s tucked right into Sv. Josipa street in Dubrovnik’s Old Town — and I mean really in the heart of things. The building itself has that authentic Croatian stone facade that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a piece of history, but without any of the stuffiness you might expect from a tourist trap.
Location & Neighborhood
Honestly, the location is pretty much unbeatable. You’re literally surrounded by centuries-old limestone walls and cobblestone streets, but here’s what the guidebooks don’t tell you — you can actually walk to Stradun (the main pedestrian street) in about two minutes without fighting through the worst of the crowds. The morning light filtering through the narrow streets creates this amazing atmosphere, and you’ll find yourself taking photos of doorways and ancient stone steps without even meaning to. What I love is that you’re close enough to duck into your room when the afternoon tour groups arrive, then head back out for dinner when things quiet down.
The Studio Experience
The studio itself strikes that perfect balance between modern comfort and Old Town character. You’ve got everything you need in a compact but well-thought-out space — the kind of place where every square meter actually serves a purpose. The stone walls keep things cool during those hot Croatian summers, which is honestly a lifesaver when you’re exploring all day. There’s a kitchenette that’s actually functional (not just for show), and the bathroom feels surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect in the Old Town. The Wi-Fi works well too, which matters more than you think when you’re trying to plan your island hopping or book that sunset dinner reservation.
Daily Life at Villa Flores
What really makes this four-star property special is how it lets you live like a local, even if it’s just for a few days. You’ll start recognizing the shopkeepers on your street, and the morning routine of grabbing coffee from the little cafe around the corner becomes second nature. The soundproofing is better than I expected — Old Town can get lively at night, but you’re not dealing with noise from the main restaurant strips. I mean, you’ll still hear some street life, but it’s more charming than disruptive.
Why Guests Love It
The 9.1 rating really speaks for itself, but after staying here, I get why couples especially fall for this place. There’s something romantic about having your own little stone hideaway in one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities. You’re not just visiting Dubrovnik — you’re actually living in it for a while. The combination of that incredible location score and the intimate studio setup creates this perfect base for exploring, whether you’re planning to walk the city walls at sunrise or catch a ferry to Lokrum Island. It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

What Our Guests Say
Excellent location,
Excellent location and clean studio
Overall, I liked Villa Flores. It was clean, spacious, and located in the heart of the Old Town.
Location is superb
What could be improved: nothing.
Great location, owner was very helpful
What could be improved: I found it hard to get to sleep, even with the windows shut you could hear people talking below quite late at night
Lovely apartment with welcoming host. Excellent location!
What could be improved: The apartment is a little noisy, but you should expect that if you want to stay in the Old Town.
This apartment is perfect! A fab location, clean, tidy and a really good use of the space. It was exactly what we needed. The apartment is really well equipped with all the bits you need for a trip. Right in the heart of Dubrovnik old town.
The hosts were super helpful & accommodating.
What could be improved: Nothing! I think the only thing that would’ve made this a 10/10 would’ve been a welcome pack with maybe some milk, tea & coffee. But there are so many places around to grab these bits that it really wasn’t a problem.
This apartment was in a fabulous location in the old town. It appeared really well maintained and clean, and we were even led to it by its host.
What could be improved: There was nothing not to like about this property.
Very comfortable space
Located Right in the old city
What could be improved: You have to pay cash only, which we didn’t know in advance
